Who We Are

Kith is a personal letter service run by Sam Bailey, trading as a sole trader. We print and post personal letters with photographs to recipients chosen by you.

1. The Service

Kith allows you to write a personal letter, upload up to three photographs, and have them printed on premium paper and posted to a recipient of your choice in a branded envelope via Royal Mail.

Each order is unique and entirely personalised to you. No two Kiths are the same.

2. Placing An Order

By placing an order you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old
The information you provide — including the recipient's name and address — is accurate to the best of your knowledge
The content of your letter and photographs is your own or you have the right to use it
The content does not contain anything unlawful, offensive, defamatory, or harmful to any person

We reserve the right to refuse any order whose content we consider inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful. In such cases a full refund will be issued.

3. Pricing

All prices are displayed on yourkith.co.uk at the time of ordering and are inclusive of:

Your letter printed on premium warm white paper
Up to three 6x4 photographs printed and enclosed
A branded Kith envelope
Royal Mail postage to a UK address

Prices are stated in pounds sterling (£) and are correct at the time of display. We reserve the right to update pricing at any time. The price charged will always be the price displayed at the time your order is placed.

4. Payment

Payment is taken at the time of ordering via Stripe. We accept all major debit and credit cards. We do not store your payment details — these are handled securely by Stripe at all times.

Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. You will receive a confirmation email to the address provided.

5. Delivery

UK delivery only unless otherwise agreed in advance.

We aim to fulfil and post your order within two working days of receiving it. Posting is done via Royal Mail second class, with delivery typically within three working days of posting.

We cannot guarantee specific delivery dates once an item has been posted. Royal Mail delivery times are outside our control. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or incorrect addresses provided at the time of ordering.

If your letter does not arrive within ten working days of the expected posting date, please contact us at sam@yourkith.co.uk and we will investigate.

6. Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete recipient address at the time of ordering. We print and post exactly the address you provide.

If a letter is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by you, we will contact you to arrange a repost. A repost fee equivalent to the original postage cost may apply.

If a letter is lost due to an incorrect address provided by you, we are unable to offer a refund.

7. Your Right To Cancel — Important

Kith produces personalised, bespoke items made specifically to your individual instructions. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the right to cancel within 14 days does not apply to goods that are made to a consumer's specification or clearly personalised.

This means that once your order has entered production — which begins as soon as we start preparing your letter and photographs for printing — you are unable to cancel your order or receive a refund, except in the circumstances set out below.

If you wish to amend or cancel your order before production has begun, please contact us immediately at sam@yourkith.co.uk. We will do everything we can to accommodate requests received promptly, but cannot guarantee changes once an order has been received.

8. Refunds

We will issue a full refund in the following circumstances:

Your order was not fulfilled within a reasonable time and you have notified us
There was a significant error in printing caused by us — for example, the wrong letter content or photographs were enclosed
The item arrived in a condition clearly damaged in transit and you notify us within 7 days of receiving it with photographic evidence

We will not issue refunds in the following circumstances:

The recipient's address was provided incorrectly by you
The letter was not received due to circumstances outside our control once correctly posted
You changed your mind after production began
Minor variations in print colour or quality that do not materially affect the letter

To request a refund, email sam@yourkith.co.uk with your order details and, where relevant, photographic evidence. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

9. Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content of your letter and the photographs you upload. By placing an order you confirm that:

Your letter content does not infringe anyone's copyright, privacy, or other rights
Your photographs are of people who have consented to being photographed, or you have the right to use the images
Nothing in your order is defamatory, threatening, obscene, or unlawful

We reserve the right to refuse to print content that we consider inappropriate, without being required to explain our decision in detail, and will issue a full refund in such cases.

10. Our Liability

We take care to fulfil every Kith accurately and to a high standard. However:

We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect information provided by you at the time of ordering
We are not liable for delays or losses caused by Royal Mail once an item has been correctly posted
Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount you paid for that order
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Intellectual Property

The Kith brand, logo, website copy, and design are owned by Sam Bailey trading as Kith. You may not reproduce or use any part of them without permission.

The content of your letter and your photographs remain entirely your own. We claim no ownership over anything you submit to us and use it solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.

12. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal data, including your photographs, is set out in our Privacy Policy at yourkith.co.uk/privacy. By placing an order you confirm you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes To These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published at yourkith.co.uk/terms at the time of your order is the version that applies to that order. We will notify existing customers of material changes by email.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
